Philips SMS marketing campaign 2007
In the first part of 2007 PHILIPS organized a large scale marketing campaign in which clients that purchased a Philishave shaver were offered te change to win back part of the amount they purchased the shaver for. Clients were offered the possibility to send an SMS to a dedicated number and would then receve within seconds the result, did they win anything and if yes: how much?
Clients that did win something would receive within minutes an SMS from their provider to notify them of the fact that there mobile account had at that moment already been upgraded with the amount they won.
RedRoxx Technologies created the complete technical infrasructure to run the campaign, including ofering connections to all providers and the ability to instantly add money to mobile accounts. PHILIPS received daily extensive reports.
During the first days of the action, that run for a month, many thousands of messages per day were received and the action was considered a big succes.
